About Me
I'm Llew, a Cardiff based designer and maker working across film, TV, theatre and installation. Being a fluent Welsh speaker from Cardiff, I was first introduced to design for performance as a creative pathway I wanted to pursue by working on Welsh language productions in the art department. I later went on to study an Art Foundation course at Coleg y Cymoedd where I developed a number of my creative skills before studying Design for Performance at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama for three years.
Believing that space itself can be a storyteller, my work strives to push the boundaries of traditional design and enhance storytelling with spaces discovered through research, attention to detail, collaboration and a vivid imagination. The process of curating and making striking imagery drives my practice to impact audiences regardless of how they experience it, be it through stage, screen, or installation.
